FALLEN WARRIORS CARDS
Welcome to our Memorial Playing Cards department. This two-deck set of playing cards are
representative of the U.S. Department of defense official release of the names of marines who
have paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving this nation in Operations Iraq and Enduring
Freedom. That count: through and inclusive of the March 19, 2003 through March 19, 2006,
three-year anniversary of Operation Iraqi Freedom, totals 692 marines including Medal Of Honor
recipient; Cpl Jason L. Dunham.
This two-deck set is presented in commemoration of those brave marines, hoping it may in some
way provide solace to a grateful nation, the families and loved ones of those lost.

The box front covers consist of the Commander In Chief surrounded by marines honoring fallen
warriors. In the background the eagle, globe and anchor has been struck by lightning and the
globe has turned to gold emitting a bright light. The fallen warriors are proceeding into that
light.
The face cards of deck one depict all of the Commandants of the Marine Corps from 1775 to
2006. The face cards of deck two depict all of the Sergeant's Major/Marine Corps from the
implementation of the position in 1957 to 2006. The cards two (2) through ten (10) of each
deck are a representation of the Fallen Marines listed by name.
The box back covers represents the marines of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring
Freedom who have now joined their brothers and sisters gone before: Peleliu, Tripoli, Sumatra,
Belleau Wood, Iwo Jima, Korea, Vietnam and more... Marines have defended America and its
values of freedom since before the Continental Congress approved the Declaration of
Independence. Marines are a family distinguished by honor, pride and courage.
